Code of conduct

Students learn better and have a better school experience in a supportive and friendly atmosphere where students and staff demonstrate mutual respect. We have the highest expectations for behaviour and conduct in and outside school, including attendance, punctuality and wearing school uniform properly. We encourage and reward and good behaviour and impose consistent and, where necessary, escalating sanctions for poor behaviour.

Be ready to learn

Come to lessons with the right equipment e.g. pen and pencil and other relevant equipment, a positive attitude to learning and taking responsibility.

Respect ourselves and others

Listening to others, avoiding interrupting, putting your hand up, using respectful language and considerate conduct at all times.

Work as part of a team

Helping each other, explaining concepts to each other, sharing ideas, buddying, promoting motivation and self confidence in yourself and others, contributing to pleasant working conditions

Always do our best

Work towards your goals, believe in yourself, challenge yourself.

Look after our school and community

Take responsibility for tidying up you own stuff in classrooms, look after equipment, help keep the school environment clean and tidy, dispose of rubbish appropriately and never leave litter.
