22 amazing Year 9 students demonstrated great resilience, teamwork and skill when they completed their Duke of Edinburgh practice expedition in May. They learned to navigate in open country and campcraft. It was a memorable experience both for the students and the staff who all enjoyed themselves too! They should be congratulated on their achievement as the rucksacks were heavy to carry over the 14km walk. There were many exhausted but happy campers by the end.
We are looking forward to doing it all again in June for the assessment.
