The session encouraged thoughtful discussion around racism, and pupils then took part in a creative competition to design a poster reflecting everything they had learned. Each group had the opportunity to present their work in front of a room full of students and visitors — a brave and impressive feat!
We’re incredibly proud of David, Oscar, Asyanur and Peace, who were brave enough to stand up and present on behalf of our group. Their posters were powerful, and the presentations were confident and heartfelt. Peace’s delivery of her and Asyanur’s poster was especially informative and moving — a moment that clearly resonated with the judges.
We’re thrilled to share that their poster won the grand prize: a replica training football from the Women’s FA Cup 2024!
A huge thank you to Pompey in the Community for the invite and for hosting such a meaningful event.
