Year 9 basketball team continued to demonstrate real growth and a strong commitment to development as they progressed all the way to the Hampshire County basketball final.
Ark made the brighter start in a closely contested opening, with both teams finding it difficult to break down disciplined defensive setups. By half-time, Ark had built a narrow but deserved 21–15 lead.
Early in the third quarter, King’s responded with two consecutive three-point shots followed by a lay-up, swinging the momentum and catching Ark off guard as they fell behind for the first time. The match remained tight throughout, but King’s managed to open up a four-point lead which they maintained until the final whistle.
Well done to all the players for reaching the county final, showing resilience, teamwork and pride in representing the school.
