Ark Charter Basketball
David, Danial, Abdelrahman, Oleksii, Maddison, Praise, Zain, Clement, Oli and Adbul have signed up to work with Coach Phil as part of the Greenhouse Sports Coaching programme at Ark Charter Academy training before school, at lunch time and after school in recent weeks, and this marked the first opportunity to take part in basketball matches.
The coaching team set 3 targets for the day:
1. Enjoy the experience
2. Work as a team
3. Improve
They did this and more with each student growing in each game; meeting all our targets and growing as both individuals and as team. Stand out performers include Praise who scored 20 points across the 4 games, and David who created scoring opportunities and put in huge defensive displays.
We are so excited to continue developing these students knowledge and skills. The future looks very bright!
